Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center kicked off its 31st annual Oktoberfest at Paulaner Brauhaus on Thursday night in Beijing.
The 18-day celebration brings authentic Bavarian culture to the heart of Beijing, featuring traditional German cuisine, freshly brewed beer, live music and dancing. Guests can enjoy the festivities and nonstop entertainment through Oct 27.
The festival began with the traditional keg tapping ceremony, marking the official opening as the first barrel of Paulaner's specially brewed Golden Festbier was tapped. With steins raised and a unified"Prost!"from the crowd, the celebration commenced in true Bavarian style.

More than just an event, this Oktoberfest offers an authentic Bavarian folk experience where guests can indulge in classic Bavarian flavors while being immersed in the festive atmosphere.
The culinary offerings stay true to Bavarian traditions. Each evening, guests can enjoy classic dishes like Paulaner's famous homemade sausage platter and roasted crackling pork knuckle served alongside freshly baked pretzels while savoring the rich malt flavors of the special Golden Festbier brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a live Bavarian band delivers a blend of traditional Oktoberfest music and party tunes, encouraging guests to dance, sing along and join in the lively celebrations. From classic folk songs to contemporary hits, including Chinese pop favorites, the music captures the joyful spirit of the festival.
Interactive performances and fun-filled games further energize the crowd, ensuring an unforgettable experience for every attendee.
