Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha Center kicked off its 31st annual Oktoberfest at Paulaner Brauhaus on Thursday night in Beijing.
The 18-day celebration brings authentic Bavarian culture to the heart of Beijing, featuring traditional German cuisine, freshly brewed beer, live music and dancing. Guests can enjoy the festivities and nonstop entertainment through Oct 27.
The festival began with the traditional keg tapping ceremony, marking the official opening as the first barrel of Paulaner's specially brewed Golden Festbier was tapped. With steins raised and a unified"Prost!"from the crowd, the celebration commenced in true Bavarian style.
